Products Behavior
Utility Bill is very important document which has to be kept as a record by the decision maker of house. Bills are delivered during 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The bill is delivered as a single leaflet which is not packed in any envelop at your door step.

The bill may be dropped in your letter box or thrown in your car porch or handed over to your guard/ driver/ servant. The bill can also be pushed under the door.

One bill is viewed bya minimum of three persons in three unique days and generates 7 ad views minimum till the bill is paid in the bank.

In C and D category areas mostly housewife receives the bill at home and keeps it at safe place which is chosen for keeping bills. In A & B category area, the servants hand over the bills to owner's wife or son/daughter. Then the receiving person places the bill at pre-decided place in the home.

Generally, it is has been observed that all utility bills are kept at one place. The selected place is usually the most visited place of the house in order to keep reminders for timely payment. Some people use hanging pockets, key holder pockets, which are placed at TV lounge to keep the current bills.

On the same evening or next day morning of delivery or before the payment date bill is handed over to head of the family who has to pay the bill. This time bill is discussed between husband and wife specially.

Head of family decides how and who will pay the bill to keep the electricity on. In upper class head of the family takes that bill and hand over to its manager or accountant to make the payment before due date. Then accountant prepares a cross check or cash check after seeing the bill amount, the check is signed and verifies the amount from the bill.

In working middle class it has been observed that head of the family takes the bill in his office and keeps that bill in his pocket or in office drawer. On managing to get some time during office hours he goes to the bank and stand in a queue to deposit the bill. It has also been observed that one has to stand 10 to 15 minutes to deposit the bill. During this times the bills is viewed again and again. Normally 5 to 10 people are standing in queue holding their bills in hand. Now advertiser can't imagine the impact of advertisement when all the people are carrying his advertisement for 10 minutes and waiting for their turn.

When a person reaches the payment window a banker collects the cash and stamps the bill and returns the consumer part of the bill to depositor. Then depositor sees the stamps on the bill just for verification and puts that bill in his pocket. Afterwards he becomes busy in other jobs of the office. On reaching at home he will file that bill for record purpose.

In our market study we have noticed one bill is viewed by a minimum of three persons in three unique days and generates 7 ad views minimum till the bill is paid in the bank.

Old Utility Bill Usage We have noticed that utility bill is mandatory to make credit card or passport or apply for new phone connection of PTCL or mobile operator company. Business community always uses the bills of whole financial year to get their holding tax adjustments while submitting their annual tax returns. Bill is also used when we sign any rent agreement.

Bills also come in handy whenever power failure occurs. People again pick up their electricity bills to make call to S.D.O. This could be night or day. In practice, it has been noticed that females make more calls to report power failures.
